The Bush Presidency In Review - Vol. 1

As George W. Bush makes his way out of the oval office and back to the hills of Texas, McPickles News reflects on the key moments - some good, some bad - of his Administration. The first moment examined is a segment of his speech from the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York. Here, W reflects on his strengths and weaknesses (funny stuff), 9/11, the spirit of military families, and the overarching purpose of these United States.

Why not? Gore ran a terrible campaign and Kerry was basically unelectable. And for the record, I thought this speech was pretty good.

So are most germans, english, french, italians, russians, spaniards, swedes, israelis (yes, israelis...no- not isrealis), and japanese. Everyone has their share of idiots. Bush was a product of his time and he was elected because let's face it, he was the right man at the right time - a decisive texan who could ensure security (and did) after our nation was attacked. The man was not all evil. Look at his global record on AIdS for pete's sake (who is pete anyway). Get over it

And let's face it, the surge is working. That took balls on his part. And he'll never get credit for that.

I mean if you think about it, the whole thing is cyclical. We get bombed, elect the texan ass-whooper. Now that ass-whoopin' is no longer needed (as bad), get the anti-Bush dem. Like JT says, what goes around comes around.....
