Recently.....

1. I gave my Williamson Act seminar yesterday to a crowded room of 40 people who were somehow incredibly interested in farmland preservation. Thank goodness that is over - the last few weeks have been spent preparing day in and day out for that seminar. So, now, life is back to normal. Still, there is a sense of accomplishment to be had from public speaking (and not fainting).

2. I finally saw Benjamin Button last night, and have to report that it was the best of the nominated movies last year. Better than Slumdog to be sure. Much better actually. Perhaps the fact that it was set in New Orleans made it more appealing. But whatever, it rocked.
