ROCHELLE LYNN FIREBAUGH NOV 24, 1976 - APR 29, 2011 Rochelle Lynn Firebaugh of Fair Oaks, California died unexpectedly on Friday, April 29th, 2011. She was 34 years old. Rochelle was born in Eugene, Oregon on November 24, 1976 and lived there until her family moved to California when she was five years old. She attended Beyer High School in Modesto, CA and Escalon High School in Escalon, CA where she was active in sports and was a member of the volleyball, soccer, cross-country and track teams. After graduation, Rochelle moved to the Sacramento area, most recently living in Fair Oaks. She found employment in the legal field, but her true love was high fashion, an industry she followed very closely. Her dreams were to become a fashion designer and travel to Paris. Rochelle enjoyed the nightlife and loved to dance and sing Karaoke, especially Michael Jackson songs. She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and dramatic style. Rochelle is survived by her boyfriend, Joshua Summers of Fair Oaks, CA, her parents Arthur Firebaugh (Mary) of Roseville, CA and Marilyn McGraw (Larry) of Escalon, CA, her sister Whitney Firebaugh of Loomis, CA, step sisters Jill Weber (Dan) of Kapaa, HI and Bobbi Schafer (Bob) of San Luis, CO, her grandmother Barbara Gaston of Placerville, CA, her uncles Brian Gaston (Judy) of Elbert, CO and Warren Douglas of Placerville, CA, and her great aunt Carol Shannon of Rocklin, CA. She is predeceased by her grandparents Charles and Eileen Firebaugh and Kenneth Gaston. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at W. F. Gormley & Sons Funeral Home, 2015 Capital Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
